In-game rules

In order to make your game experience and that of the other players optimal, it is necessary to respect the rules below. These rules apply on the whole Minecraft Treasure Quest server and are valid for all players. The non-observance of the rules below can lead to sanctions. Any player is considered to have read and accepted the rules, which may be modified at any time.

I - The player is responsible for his account. If the account is hacked, or used by a third party, the player will be considered to be at fault if a mistake is made (there is no "my brother has xray on my account").

In addition, the account must have an appropriate nickname and skin (no reference to religion, politics, sexuality, or being offensive to a community). The use of several accounts, in order to benefit from any advantages, is strictly prohibited.

II - Hacks and modifications of the client are forbidden, and may be punished with a permanent ban: any modification of the game that could help a player by giving him an advantage over other players is therefore forbidden, in the interest of equality.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Classic cheat systems, including those that allow the player to steal, run faster, detect spectator players, automatically mine resources, be invincible, have advantages in PvP, etc.
• Texture packs to locate ores more easily (xray....), as well as any function to locate blocks / places easily (cave finder, minimap to locate caves, etc).
• Autoclicks and macros of any technique (putting a weight on your mouse is not allowed).
• Anti afks
• Litematica's functions to place blocks automatically (printer, easyplacer, etc.)

The authorized changes are as follows:

• Mods that improve game performance, such as OptiFine.
• The modification of the gamma from the file "options.txt" of the .minecraft file.
• Vanilla" launchers, shaders and texture packs that do not change the game itself.
• The minimaps (always provided that they do not allow to see the caves).
• Litematica (except for the previously forbidden functions).
• Les mods Inventory Tweaks et Just Enough Item.

Any customer modification not listed above is considered prohibited. However, the staff remains open to adding authorized mods that we may have overlooked.

III - Exploitation of bugs or glitches. Using bugs or glitches is forbidden: this concerns both bugs that could occur on our server and bugs present in pure vanilla (duplication, cave finders, generation bugs, etc.). The use of glitches to climb to the roof of the Nether is still allowed. If you discover a bug or glitch on the server, please report it to the staff by opening a ticket or posting on the forum so that the team can fix it.

IV - Looting, theft and destruction of buildings are prohibited, whether the base is a claim or not. Keep in mind, however, that a claim protects your bases from such crimes, and saves us time spent on solving problems. It is therefore HIGHLY recommended to claim your constructions.

As a reminder: if a player is "trusted" in your base, it means that you trust him, and we will not intervene in case of dispute. It is up to you to choose trustworthy players to avoid any incident.

V - Every construction made on the server must be respectful, and must not hinder the performance of the server.__ Thus, any construction making references to religion, politics, sexuality, or being able to offend a community is forbidden. Furthermore, factories that can cause lags on the server (0 ticks factories, high concentration of redstone or creatures in the same place, etc.) are prohibited. You will be asked to limit your entities to what is strictly necessary (you don't need more than 5 cows to survive for example). In case of server downtime, the moderators reserve the right to kill entities deemed useless. Moreover, if you want to settle near a person, it is necessary to ask for his agreement, to avoid any inconvenience.

VI - To get resources for your survival, you can use the survival world. Be aware that the world can be reset.

VII - Advertising: The sharing of IP addresses, web addresses, discord invitation links on a public chat is strictly forbidden, and requires the prior agreement of the concerned player in a private message (no spamming of ads to each player one after the other). An agreement can however be given for certain players after request to an administrator.

VIII - Any message posted must be respectful to everyone, and must not hinder the good reading of the chat.__ Thus, any message that could be offensive (jokes are part of it), or infringing on someone's privacy, will be punished. It should be noted that criticizing the work of the staff constantly can be offensive. Furthermore, it goes without saying that discrimination in any form, racism, sexism, homophobia and harassment are strictly forbidden.

In order to keep the conversations consistent, all types of spam are prohibited. We consider that messages written entirely in capital letters are detrimental to the readability of the chat, and are therefore considered as spam. SMS language is also to be avoided, for the sake of understanding.

Finally, English and French are the only two languages allowed.

IX - The discord server is subject to the same rules as the minecraft server. Thus, the parts on account responsibility, advertising, respect and spam are applied. Furthermore, respectful behavior is also expected in the voice chat, any troll, shouting, or inappropriate behavior (burps are included in "inappropriate behavior") will be punished.

Voice channels reserved for English and French speakers are present on the discord. The purpose of these channels is to promote the practice of English and French on the discord. Anyone can use it, regardless of their language skills. No judgement will be tolerated on the level of mastery of the language (except for educational purposes). Des canaux vocaux réservés aux anglophones et aux francophones sont présents sur le discord. Le but de ces canaux est de promouvoir la pratique de l'anglais et du français sur le discord. Tout le monde peut l'utiliser, quelles que soient ses compétences linguistiques. Aucun jugement ne sera toléré sur le niveau de maîtrise de la langue (sauf à des fins pédagogiques).

Any player logging in is considered to have read and accepted the rules. Any deviation from these rules will be punished according to the seriousness of the infraction. The penalties applied, whether in-game or on the discord, may vary depending on the staff member.
